Awkard Yoga

I sure know how to relax in my new compression socks!

I have posted before about my new yoga routine on Monday, but I never said I was proficient at it!

From downward facing dog to the happy baby pose, I genuinely have no idea what I am doing!

I spend more time looking around trying to figure out what other people are doing instead of relaxing.

I know the benefits of yoga are endless. Yoga is excellent for numerous physiological, psychological and biochemical body issues, and I just wish I could reap some of the benefits.

I’m doing the poses (however painful they might be), but I have no idea how to stay calm and focused. Maybe those are skills that are gained over time.

Oh, and at the end of class my teacher said, “lead a simple life and keep your heart open.” Sounds easy enough, right? Too bad I’m breaking both pieces of advice!

I have a lot of work to do!

I’m sticking to my yoga Monday whether I learn to relax or not, so I guess I better get used it!
