Finding Time for Everything

Posted: 01 Sep 2012 06:22 PM PDT

Yesterday I had a lot I wanted to accomplish. On top of a busy day at work, I had a few errands to run, I wanted to go to the gym, and I had plans for a night out on the town that I wasn’t about to miss.

Oh, and tonight I made this all by myself! Impressed? Because I was!

Since I am incapable of waking up early to exercise that left working out after my job as my only option.

After 4 p.m., I rushed out the door, fought the holiday traffic, completed my errands, ran four miles at the gym, lifted some weights and still got all prettied up to go out for 8 p.m.

Everything would have gone off without a hitch, but my INCREDIBLE sense of direction had me driving around downtown New Haven for 20 extra minutes before I reached my final destination.

It would have been easier to skip the gym, put off the errands or reschedule my plans, but I found a way to make everything work!

Today: 4 miles.
Weekly: 18.25 miles.
Yearly: 493.58 miles.
