Post-Hike and Back in Training

After yesterday’s hike, the only part of my body that was terribly sore was my behind. But boy, did it hurt!

I had already scheduled a personal training session for tonight, so despite the pain I continued right on hurting myself!

I think that either my session wasn’t as hard as the last time, or maybe I’m just getting a little tougher because it was tolerable, but not impossible like usual!

I may deeply regret my previous statement tomorrow! But I’m hoping I won’t be in too much pain!

I have quickly learned that if I was able to successfully finish a 20K, I am also capable of pushing myself physically in other ways.

I have a few decisions/choices to make about this weekend, but I am very hopeful that I can take part in another big race!

This weekend’s race is only half the distance (6.2 miles), but it would still be a challenge!

Before I sign up, I just need to check on some other work/life things to make sure that my next challenge is possible, and my schedule is clear!
