| Posted: 17 Jul 2012 06:38 PM PDT I made a sweeping statement on Facebook today that said, “it’s too hot to run is NOT a good enough reason!” Words to live by, right? Well, that silly statement forced me to get outside and run tonight! Even after I skipped the gym and drove straight home, I still got dressed to go out for an easy 3 mile run. However, nothing was easy about my run. The weather was hot and humid, which is not an ideal running forecast! I finished my run in about 26 minutes (the same time I finished my 5K in on Sunday). While I wasn’t thrilled with my time again, I was happy that I pushed myself! When I was finally done, Bailey begged me for a second walk. Look at that face! Who could say no to those gorgeous eyes? I walked another half mile with Bailey to make sure she felt well taken care of tonight! I’m also slowly working on adjusting my diet over the next few days. I need to eat more in the morning and less at night. Lately, I have found myself starving at 10:00 a.m., which leads to some unhealthy food choices during the day! I’m convinced that eating more nutritious food earlier in the day will help me eat less late at night. Tomorrow I’m making myself an egg white omelette before work. Wish me luck!
