A Merry Life

Sometimes you get so much good information at once it seems like the best day ever.

Which is what is happening today.

First, Fitbloggin is next June in Portland Oregon.

I was bummed about missing the last two and this means…. I’m going! I actually was already planning to be in Oregon the week before for my good friend’s wedding. Now I’m just going to take an actual vacation from work and extend my time in Oregon for Fitbloggin. This is so great because I love Oregon and I can’t wait!

Second, my mom is cancer free!!!!!

She found out today that the 6 months of chemo she was scheduled for is not necessary. She will still be taking medicine every day for the next five years but she won’t have to go through chemo and only needs checkups every 6 months. The surgery + radiation did the trick for her. I’m hoping & praying it never comes back and she has another 30 years of good health. That’s not too much to ask since my grandma lived to 92, right?

Yeah the second totally blows the first news out of the water, but I do like when vacations line up and I can plan to see my blog buddies at Fitbloggin. Next June is going to be a fun month. :)

Anyway… this was a day of awesome news and I’m just overflowing with happiness and wanted to share it with you all. Thank you to everyone who prayed for my mom and shared sweet thoughts. It was and is much appreciated. We both love all my readers and blog friends. <3

And now I’m off to fully enjoy this day by spending time with Kepa and partying with friends later. It’s a great day. Enjoy it!
